Meet Niagara Falls author, Kara Bartley. Kara holds a bachelor's degree in Earth Science/Biology, a post-graduate diploma in G.I.S. and a master's degree in Vertebrate Paleontology. In the spring of 2002, she began writing her first novel, The Siamese Mummy, while on a dig for fossils in Kansas. The book was later released in 2006, with a new edition released in 2013.

Kara is also the author of The Unearthed, Call of Adhara, The Moon in Habock's Mirror and 34. She is currently working on The Siamese Mummy, Rise of the Sandshadow-the second instalment in the 'Mummy' series. The book is set to release in 2014.
