In 2005 Kara graduated from the University at Buffalo with a Master's degree in Vertebrate Paleontology. She began writing her first novel while on a dig for fossils in Kansas. From shovel to pen, Kara created PALEOTALES to combine her love of paleontology with her passion for storytelling.
